Q. I get an error when I try to upload an image: ” Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8760 bytes) in /home/sketch/public_html/wp-admin/includes/image.php on line 162″

A. We’ve had this error occur a couple of times and we think it’s caused by excessively large jpegs.  If you’re planning to upload some art it’s best to re-size the image first in an image editing program.   We find that 800 pixels wide works for us, and maybe set the quality to about 85.

Q. My cool 3D picture of some tin toys got removed by an admin.  What gives?  That took ages to ‘render’.

A. I see the problem.  We don’t actually accept CG or Computer Generated art on this site.  We’re trying to keep things simple with ‘old-school’ techniques.  We welcome your initial sketch of the tin toy though!
